Intermediate-FETP is 9-month in-service training program that focuses on strengthening epidemiologic capacity at the middle and national level of the health system. The program consists of four online self-based modules and five interactive workshops (face to face or virtual) and four fieldworks with 7 weeks duration for each fieldwork. The FETP-Intermediate program is designed for government public health workers at the middle and national level of the health system who are responsible for Surveillance data compilation, analysis, and reporting, Management and evaluation of the surveillance system, Outbreak investigation and response, Conduct of planned investigations to address public health priority issues and Communication of health information and conclusions to managers and decision-makers
